1. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions:

“Auf Deutsch” / “The Tutor” refers to the business and individuals providing language tuition services.

“Client(s)” / “Student(s)” refers to users of the service or individuals paying for the service on behalf of a student.
2. Scheduling
Tutoring sessions are scheduled at mutually agreed times between the Client/Student and the Tutor.
Clients paying per session will usually keep the same time slot, subject to the Tutor’s availability.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
A. Client Cancellations
Clients/Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

Cancellations with less notice will be charged in full.

For Monday sessions, cancellations must be made by the preceding Friday.
B. No-Show Policy
Clients/Students are considered No-Shows if they are more than 15 minutes late or fail to attend the scheduled session.

No-Shows are charged in full.

Pay-Per-Session Clients must pay for the missed session and the upcoming session before tutoring can resume. All future appointments will be suspended until payment is received.
C. Tutor Cancellations
If the Tutor misses a session without prior notice, the Client/Student will be entitled to one free replacement session.
4. Early Withdrawal
Clients/Students who need to end their tutoring before the course is complete must give one week’s written notice.

Clients/Students are responsible for any sessions scheduled during the final week.
Refund Policy:

If notice is given and less than 50% of the course is completed, a 50% refund will be issued for the remaining sessions.

Alternatively, a voucher for the full remaining value may be issued. This voucher is transferable.

No refunds or vouchers will be issued after 50% course completion.
5. Course Completion Policy
All courses must be completed within 12 months from the invoice date.
6. Liability
The Tutor is committed to providing a high-quality service but cannot guarantee specific academic outcomes.

The Tutor is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the service or materials.

Clients/Students waive any claims arising from use of the service.
7. Intellectual Property
All in-house materials are the property of Auf Deutsch and protected by copyright law.
Clients/Students may not publish or distribute any materials without prior written permission.
8. Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising from the use of the tutoring service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects the Client’s/Student’s statutory rights as a consumer.
